Air & Space IMINT

Airborne and space photography systems employ numerous technologies enabling high-quality images such as high resolution push-broom panchromatic and multi-spectral images for small earth remote-sensing satellites, enabling a 1 m class panchromatic resolution and 5 m class multi-spectral resolution.  Spectral bands covered range from UV to NIR.



Elop develops and integrates the payload including camera, control computer, data compression, storage, encryption and the data-link including data formatting, transmitter, antennas, and ground stations including data analysis. Airborne photography technology provides solutions for high resolution, all weather, medium and high altitude applications. High performance is obtained by implementing large aperture, long focal length athermal structures, together with long detector arrays, real time data links, and on-board full resolution storage. Long-range oblique photography technology (LOROP), provides imaging in the visible and IR spectra. Scanning, forward motion compensation (FMC), and navigation is obtained by use of gyro, IMU, GPS, dampers, and advanced control algorithms.
