A pioneer in electro-optics technology from its early beginnings, Elop continues to invest a considerable percentage of revenues (in addition to customer-sponsored programs) in research and development, mastering all scientific disciplines relevant to electro-optics. The most important R&D resource is the excellent quality of our scientists and engineers, combining experience and enthusiasm, enabling us to leverage the accomplishments of the past with the excitement of the future. Alongside the R&D personnel is the state of the art infrastructure of laboratories, clean rooms, and other material needs required to support R&D efforts. Today Elop is Israel’s System’s House for EO requirements.
Elop is active in various development programs with Universities in Israel and around the world. This includes a number of national R&D consortiums sponsored by the Israeli Ministry of Industry and Trade. In addition, we are involved in and are leading a number of European Community R&D programs with the cooperation of major European industries and academia.
